I've been watching the comments for a while now and decided to comment finally. I think (just my opinion, I'm not here to bash anyone), the April Rose story is true, however, I am beginning to have my doubts. The first thing to make me doubt was the way all of the posts disappeared. Is there a way on blogger that you can make just the updates appear while not deleting the other posts? I don't know. Anyways, while I can see the similarities between the doll and the picture of April Rose, I also see differences. Maybe if you took a picture of the doll at the same angle as the April picture and then put it in black and white (assuming that you have a doll and didn't take the picture from a website)? The second thing that made me doubt is that out of the pictures that were posted, two do NOT look like the same baby as the others, maybe I'm wrong. I sure wish I knew if this was all fake. I guess time will tell.
I am trying to post the pics side by side in the same color. I do have the doll at my home. I am new to blogging so be patient please. I will post them together if I can figure it out. And yes the pics of the real baby that appears to be not new or sick at all do not resemble the other pics at all!
They're identical (the doll and the photo). That's the easy part to figure out. The hard part to figure out is WHY they did this. Motives are always the last to be revealed.
They do look the same.I am sorry I have been praying and hoping for this little girl but that doll and that "baby"Look the same. I had doubt when the first picture went up it looked like those dolls they had in that movie with Mandy Moore in it I forgot the name of it.But kept faith and then more doubts when they pulled the whole site.
Ok. I posted the black and white pic as well. The doll is a reborn doll. They are made to look like real babies. This one is a sculpt by Denise Pratt and is called Avery. The doll in the pic was made by me, so the hair is a bit different and my doll has a bow. There is no denying that face though.
this doesn't look like what they posted. plus it's so small, how can we see it? and it has words going across it. it's not the original pic that was posted on B's blog.
It is the pic they posted this morning. It was in a strip across the right side and yes there were words on it. I have a cache version of the whole page. Try this. You can see the original post. http://74.125.155.132/search?q=cache:VNB3sz7Bx4wJ:littleoneapril.blogspot.com/+%22april+rose%22&cd=3&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us
I know they got donations. That is why the PO box was set up. As soon as I sent her a message about donations a disclaimer popped up on their blog about how they are not accepting donations!

Hey, I am being patient. I wasn't insisting that you do this now! It was just a suggestion.

i tried to make it(the pic) bigger, but I am not sure how.
ReplyDeleteUgh!!! I am so furious at these people! I can't believe I wasted a whole day on this! I hate liars!
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating to realize you spent your whole birthday (yep, "April Rose" and I shared one) praying for and following a scammer. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteIf they received donations under false pretenses to that P.O. Box, it would be mail fraud. Pack your bags, B & D.
