  4. Hi guys!

    I'm from Pittsburgh, Pa!

    GO PENS!!!!!!

(sorry, I have an obligation ya know...lol)

  5. Hmm. I belong to a forum for families of multiple births. A few years ago we had a 'faker' who too scammed people out of money, clothing, etc. We late found out that she had actually lost a baby and truly was suffering from mental issues. One HOM had their local station do an expose on her. The 'faker' lived in Louisiana and the expose was from Boston. No charges were able to be filed. Believe me, some of the victims tried.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'm in Chicago, but originally from outside of Pittsburgh. Go Pens!

  19. 29/f/WA, Lori-I am just glad that my husband isn't the only one who is mad at their wife for being obsessed with this situation!

  20. Re-posting from the longest thread ever:

    Creepy Mommy & Christine:
She would FREAK out if people would leave comments and tell them to email her...what was that? Like, I want to leave a comment, I don't want a private email exchange with you.

And I didn't understand why she'd start her own blog carnivals like the whole fashion and prayers thing. I'm not looking to some random chick on the internet for fashion tips.

P.S. I just followed you...I find you to be HILARIOUS and FFFFAAAABBBB!

    ReplyDelete
  21. baby is up...i'll be back :)

  27. It's neat that this has taken a lighter tone...but i am primarily still here for answers. i can't wait until the cryptic speak ends and we finally know what the deal is...like WHY she did this , and WHAT is being done. I can be spared all of Beccahs private details , that's her business , but i do want to know what happened here. Honestly , i don't want to know for the sake of gossip , i want to know because i am a fairly trusting person. I consider myself to be fairly "dupble" (yeah , i made up a word) , and i would like to know how to stop this from happening again. knowledge is power.
i am also praying for Beccah's soul.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I gotcha, KiKi. The city limit itself isn't that far away from me, but I always picture downtown as the city, for some odd reason.

    ReplyDelete
  34. (oh yeah and I have 2 kids- one is 3, the other is 9 months)

    ReplyDelete
  35. 6turners-

I agree with you. I'm glad the tone around her has lightened up, but I'm still waiting for some type of explanation.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Naked toddlers just put three (THREE!) rolls of TP in the toilet. HOLY MOLY I'll be divorced by the time this is over. I just closed the bathroom door and leaving it for hubby to deal with

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thanks for telling me we were all moving over here. Gosh.

    ReplyDelete
  40. 6turners, I think answers would be great too but from the tone of the last joint "statement" it sounds as if we probably won't get much?

According to the THREE, gossip is Satan's work...

    ReplyDelete
  41. I feel better that there's a lot of 26-year-olds and a lot of Texans like myself reading this. I felt so alone, and dorky, and if my boyfriend hears me talk about this situation again I think he might move out.

Oh well. At least I'd have you all. I'm calling our significant others "April Rose Widows."

    ReplyDelete
  42. Nobody called me crazy. Woot!Woot!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

There you go for those who haven't seen this stuff before. It's usually in your peanut butter aisle in the grocery store. Have a spot prepared to hide the stuff in though, so you don't have to share.

I would rather my kids wore the clothes I paid for. Next season I'm leaving tags on.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete

  107. i'm 29/ southern CA/ twitter: corinna626 / blog: i'll tell you if you want it but i removed it from twitter earlier this week with all this crap going on!

    ReplyDelete
  108. So I have been reading since last night. I seriously stayed up till like 4 am reading through everything. I am still sitting here in my pajamas and it's 4 pm.

I haven't ever been wrapped up in something like this for so long. *Hanging head in shame* :D

Anyhow, I just wanted to speak my word, I did leave a comment on the Gibson Twin's website yesterday as well.

I have a son who has Trisomy 21 and I followed The Apirl Rose blog, because I have always been so thankful that our little guy didn't have any of the other Trisomies out there.

But this has really hurt me. It makes me feel like Beccah made a mockery out of my son, and so many others out there who are living with someone who has any type of special needs or a medically fragile child.

My son has been through three years of pure hell. He has had surgery on nearly every major organ.

I am not out there to get and "Oh I feel so sorry for you, or that's too bad." I am blogging to raise awareness, and to have something for my kids to look back on when they become older.

I don't make money on my blog. We are in a financial black hole. We have lost everything we owned before our son was born.

But you know what? It's okay. If I just get one blogger who leaves a comment thanking them for telling our story because it's helped them, then it's all been worth it.

April Rose had alot of my time and tears invested into "her" when I could have and should have been using them on my family instead.

I'm not perfect, but I do care. I guess that's what I get for being human.

BTW, I do have a few blogs on my profile. Rhett's Journey is private because we are in the middle of a lawsuit after an incident that nearly took him from us back in 2007. But The Bird Flock is our main blog.

Lest anyone thinks I am trying to hide anything. :O

    ReplyDelete
  109. Mck is not B. I promise.

    ReplyDelete
  110. What do you guys think they'll say? I thought they were closing the book on evil gossip?

    ReplyDelete
  111. No way. I know shes good at blogging but she doesnt have that much time on her hands. And MCK would have picked better colors for the April Rose blog those colors were blahhh. lol

    ReplyDelete
  112. I'm 32. Actually turned 32 on June 7 at 2:48 AM. No lie. I thought it was so cool that April shared my b-day and that we were born at the same time but opposite times of the day. It feels a little creepy now.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Urgh , i can't stand when religion is thrown around so to justify one's personal actions.
God is telling me this....God is telling me that. We have free will people!!!!
Somehow , i don't think that God will be burning people at the stake for releasing REAL , TRUTHFUL , NON_CRYPTIC answers in this situation. No one says that "big wig , super dooper , celebrity status" bloggers have to burn this woman at the stake....just GIVE ANSWERS! Dumb it down for us...whatever you've gotta do! this is not some ticket to heaven here! Your blog is not going to earn you a Pulitzer prize either. Just speak!!!!!!!
    DAMN!
(sorry , i just had to unleash my frustration...all of the "politics' of the blogging world are getting on my nanny goat!!!)

    ReplyDelete
  114. Bella - hmm. All of the "major Bloggers" have a "writting" to them!!!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Hey Pam welcome. I read you all the time :)

    ReplyDelete
  116. Did anyone ever see the "My Fake Baby" documentary on the BBC?

    ReplyDelete
  117. Gibson Twin~Brianne...
Can you just out the info for all of us? :)
    ....worth a try

    ReplyDelete
  118. aww man Kiki. Happy Bday anyways :)

    ReplyDelete
  119. I am in Granbury TX. Blonde hair, green eyes (like those of April Rose....you know the first newborn EVER born with green eyes)

    ReplyDelete
  120. OK i make reborns and my fake baby was creepy!!

    ReplyDelete
  121. I don't know what info Mck/Raechel/Angie are going to "out".

I've said it to many of you separately. Beccah is not near a computer. Probably not near a phone.

She did give an interview to Chicago Tribune.

    That's all I got.

    ReplyDelete
  122. LOL 6turners...there are a lot of blog politics I wasn't aware of...

    ReplyDelete
  123. I'll always remember the birthday I spent refreshing my computer all afternoon to follow along the birth of a fake baby! lol

    ReplyDelete
  124. Pam - you are an excellent reason why it's so irritating when people say "get over this and let it die." I can only imagine the feelings that this brought up for you when you found out that someone faked something that has been a real issue with your family. And for that, you deserve answers.

I'm now heading over to your blog, and so far I think the post you wrote yesterday is SPOT ON.

    ReplyDelete
  125. gibson twins im a widow of DAoC but i played too!! Stop typing so fast ladies i cant keep up!!!

    ReplyDelete
  126. KiKi seriously??? That is creepy.

    ReplyDelete
  127. ok guys HUGE favor...could one of you text me when this "news" comes out. i know its a little unconventional but i don't tweet (don't know how) and it is my sons fifth grade farwell and i have been a "victim" bought the tshirt sent prayers yada yada yada and i can't bear to think i am going to miss the big reveal!! i was one of the first ones on this blog and now i can't wait to find out whats happening. i know its pathetic but this is the most excitement ive seen in WEEKS LOL

    ReplyDelete
  128. Hmm...why is she not near a comp or phone? Wonder if she is in custody or has been committed. I mean honestly...this has dragged on so long...lol. Thank you GT for your hard work and honesty! Anyway, I am going to have to leave soon. Hope this "big post" goes up soon!

    ReplyDelete
  129. She gave an interview to the Trib? When will that be available?

    ReplyDelete
  130. I played DAoC too for awhlie (prekids). Hubby was a GM of Seekers of Truth guild

    ReplyDelete
  131. That show was creepy wasn't it. I am a reborn artist too....well you know that already

    ReplyDelete
  132. Hi! I'm Sarah. I'm 24 from Southwest Ohio. I have 2 little girls. Ava is (newly) 1 and Helaina is (newly) 5. Married to Chris. SAHM. so exciting, I know!

    ReplyDelete
  133. Well then I guess if thats all they are going to tell us then we already know. Besides the tribune thing...wow, I bet that sucked. How embarrassing. I'm sure she'll cry that something horrible has happened in her past, I have issues in my past too and I wouldnt make up something like this. No excuses...she should apologize, get help and move on with her life

    ReplyDelete
  134. When will her interview be out? Will it be posted online?

    ReplyDelete
  135. Maybe her family and "Friends" did an intervention and she did get commited...

    ReplyDelete
  136. Beccah is not in jail.

She gave phone interview with Chicago Tribune (I'm going to hell for outing this and killing the suspense created)

    Tomorrow in print?

    ReplyDelete
  137. It's not on the Chicago Tribune's website YET I guess. I am DYING see this article. Ugh! I wanna copy of it. Seriously! Gibson Twins - to you tweet?

    ReplyDelete
  138. ok those reborn dolls are super creepy. I'd never have one of those things in my house. They'd probably come alive in the night and hack you up into pieces or something

    ReplyDelete
  139. OMG if I were her Mother I would be mortified.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I had a small guild on hibernia galahad -crazy train. ex hubby belonged to lots of guilds

    ReplyDelete
  141. If I do anything else online I might just as well print my own divorce papers. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  142. Yep, seriously. Talk about weird coincidences!

    ReplyDelete
  143. Wow...all i did was make a couple phone calls and it has taken me forever to catch up 29/F/AR--Arkansas not April Rose. Single no kids...but unemployed so LOTS of free time!

    ReplyDelete
  144. I'll bet ya'll a spoonful of Nutella that whatever this update is, it will be nothing groundbreaking or earth shattering, leading to great disappointment and a blog wide community binge of commenting, divorces and Nutella.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Deana
they have never come alive!! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  146. Is the Trib thing the announcement? If so, I am going to go cook dinner :)

    ReplyDelete
  147. ooooh an interview! Can't WAIT to read it. wonder what sob story she'll tell. (not that there isn't a sob story, just wonder if it'll match what I've been told privately)

    ReplyDelete
  148. We were on Albion only
My fave to kill was midgard

    ReplyDelete
  149. You ladies are so funny. Who woulda thought that a fake baby could bring so many strong personalities and opinions together. I hope this "community" of passionate people will find some sort of avenue to continue on as the present issue starts to get old. That would be a great read!
Oh... and I'm not B.... lol.
    Erin/Indiana/34

    ReplyDelete
  150. I never created suspense of a big announcement
    Sorry to disappoint!

    ReplyDelete
  151. "going to hell for killing the suspense"???? WOW!!!

that is the exact reason why this thing is so bunk. now this is being used to create traffic, or buzz...or whatever!!

  152. I dont think the dolls themselves are creepy. But what some people do with them is. Like they cant tell reality from fiction.

  154. LMAO im offended! Did you ever own a doll? Thats really all they are. It is however creepy when people treat them like they are real.

I have taken a hot bath, gone shopping for new shoes, baked cookies, watched Twilight...anything to keep my mind off of it. I. Can't. Stop. Reading.

Oh, I am real. 32 year old mom of 3, wife, and full time student from Arkansas.

  157. I used to work with a girl that had those dolls, and she would drive around with them in carseats in her car. It was totally weird.

    ReplyDelete
  158. What would you even say on the interview?
Just the fact that she's DOING interviews is enough proof that the girl is out for attention as well as $. Unbelievable!! ...but not really

  180. I have yet to post.....but when I saw that whole XBox widow and PS widow....well, I just had to! I too suffer from that syndrome....My husband will play into all hours of the night. UGH! I hate those things! Of course, now that I have discovered the blogging world, it's a little more fair.

I have been glued to this situation since GT turned me onto it. I was not an avid follower of AR (nor am I of Angie or McMama & I didn't even know Raechel had a blog until this one) but I did pop in from time to time to see how things were "progressing" with her - Ha!

Seriously, though, HWW was an awesome ministry and it is somthing I am considering for my own blog (not the same title but a prayer request thread every week). I think it is a wonderful idea and I personally loved the knowledge that there were people out there praying for our situation (and still are btw). It made me feel better to know that my family and my baby were being lifted up in prayer.

That being said, my heart truly does go out to "B". Not because of what she has done, but because she clearly needs some kind of help.

I do feel, however, that she needs to be held accountable for her actions.

So I will wait for more word on this situation....((sigh))
